COVID-19: Singapore confirms 399 new cases; 69 more dormitories cleared via yahoosg

SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health has preliminarily reported 399 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of Tuesday noon, taking the total to 48,434.

“In addition, there are three imported cases who had been isolated or placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore. This takes the total number to 891 dormitories and 56 BRWs in 17 PBDs cleared of COVID-19. In particular, Sungei Tengah Lodge is the largest PBD with around 16,000 workers, all of whom can immediately return to work if their employers have obtained approval from their sector agencies to restart operations.

Some 3,454 patients with mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive are isolated and cared for at community facilities.
