Covid-19: Sepang, Kuala Selangor, Alor Gajah, Kota Samarahan now orange zones

According to the definition in the Health Ministry's own maps, orange zones are districts where between 20 and 40 cases have been recorded.With Alor Gajah recording a total tally of 20 cases on April 2 up from 18 cases on April 1, Melaka now has all of its three districts marked as orange zones. As of April 2 noon, the number of cases in Malaysia's 20 Covid-19 orange zones are: Cheras , Rembau , Seberang Perai Tengah , Lahad Datu , Putrajaya , Jerantut , Kuala Muda , Kota Kinabalu , Muar , Jasin , Timur Laut , Kuantan , Kuala Selangor , Kulai , Kota Setar , Melaka Tengah , Pekan , Sepang , Alor Gajah , and Kota Samarahan .
In the latest data as of April 2, the number of Covid-19 cases in the 16 red zones are: Hulu Langat , Lembah Pantai , Petaling , Kuching , Seremban , Johor Bahru , Kluang , Kepong , Kota Bahru , Titiwangsa , Klang , Kinta , Gombak , Tawau , Hilir Perak , Batu Pahat .In other words, nearly 65 per cent of the 3,116 Covid-19 cases detected in Malaysia as of April 2 have been recorded in just these 16 red zones.
The 31 green zones are spread out over six states: including one district each in four states in peninsular Malaysia, nine districts in Sabah and 18 districts in Sarawak.
