Two people convicted of stealing $18 million from COVID-19 relief funds were reportedly extradited back to the U.S. from Montenegro on Thursday.

Richard Ayvazyan and Marietta Terabelian worked to defraud the Paycheck Protection Program of approximately $18 million and are currently awaiting extradition.While awaiting sentencing, they cut their ankle monitors off in August 2021 and fled the country, according to the FBI.
