COVID19 recoveries in PH reach 722 as coronavirus infections near 7,000-mark
MANILA — The number of COVID-19 patients in the Philippines who have recovered has breached the 700-mark as the countrywide tally of infections climb to almost 7,000 on Thursday.
With 271 new COVID-19 cases, the country's cumulative total stood at 6,981, the agency said.The country reported its first case of the disease on Jan. 30 in a Chinese woman who came from the Chinese city of Wuhan where the virus that causes COVID-19 is believed to have originated.
