COVID-19: NUS confirms 14 students with infection, 2 who breached SHNs via yahoosg
SINGAPORE — The National University of Singapore said that it has 14 students who are confirmed to be infected with COVID-19.
The blog post also said that by this week, NUS will have brought home all its 1,400 students who are overseas on exchange or attachment programmes. Over the last two weeks, the university has already brought home about 93 per cent of these students.Students living in NUS hostels but with homes in Singapore are strongly encouraged to go home, in light of enhanced Ministry of Health safe-distancing measures and the provision of e-learning options.
The post added that a breach of SHN is not only subject to the Infectious Diseases Act of the Government of Singapore, but also to the NUS Board of Discipline.
