Courtesy ofJOHANNESBURG - South Africa exited the third coronavirus wave on 27 September according to the latest from Health Minister Joe Phaahla.On Friday, the health department briefed the country on the latest COVID-19 stats.He says the country is entering a stable territory.
"The number of new infections have been consistently dropping in the last three weeks, 33% reduction in the last 7 days... 19.3% decrease in hospitalization in the last seven days," he said.
