JOHANNESBURG - The Department of Health’s extension of regulations on masking, gatherings and travel are not fit for purpose.Madhi says government's regulations are full of contradictions and may further harm the country’s already ailing economy.

He says the Health Department keeps ignoring the advice of its own Ministerial Advisory Committee on COVID-19.They've jumped to nearly 10,000 new cases in the last 24 hours.
