NSTnation Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah took to social media to urge the public to be truthful in giving their history and close contacts when seeking medical treatment in the event they test positive for Covid19.

“We had a few incidents this week where patients concealed their symptoms, travel history and close contact information. For example, those linked to the jemaah tabligh gathering at the Seri Petaling Mosque were not truthful.

“Only after clinical procedures and treatment were completed that such critical information was disclosed.He reminded the public that it is a crime not to reveal information to the authorities amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. “I appeal to the public and patients to please be truthful and not hide information and put our lives and facilities at risk,” Dr Noor Hisham added.
