Covid-19: Gov't to decide on postponing Friday prayers 'within next few hours'

CORONAVIRUS | Islamic affairs minister says he is consulting with the Health Ministry first before making a decision.

CORONAVIRUS | Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Zulkifli Mohamad will be deciding on the need to postpone Muslim Friday prayers in the wake of rising coronavirus fears within the next “two to three hours”.

He told reporters that he and his ministry would first have to consult with the Health Ministry over the matter, before deciding if Friday prayers are to be replaced with Zohor prayers at home....
