CORONAVIRUS | Barisan Revolusi Nasional puts down arms to enable humanitarian, medical access to affected areas.
| Southern Thailand's most powerful armed group, the Barisan Revolusi Nasional , has announced a ceasefire to enable humanitarian and medical access into areas affected by Covid-19 outbreak in the province.
According to BRN, the pandemic, which has claimed several lives in the southern province is the "principal enemy of the human race" and the group reiterated its commitment to cooperate in overcoming the disease. Thailand's Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration has reported that 20 people in the Kingdom have died from the virus and 2,067 people infected.
