GEORGE TOWN: Contact tracing involving more than 100 people has been made in relation to the positive Covid-19 cases reported in Penang on Sunday (Aug 9), says Chow Kon Yeow.

GEORGE TOWN: Contact tracing involving more than 100 people has been made in relation to the positive Covid-19 cases reported in Penang on Sunday , says Chow Kon Yeow“It is necessary for contact tracing, testing, isolation and if necessary, treatment ,” said the Penang Chief Minister during a press conference here on Sunday.

Penang reported one positive Covid-19 case on Friday , removing the state’s green zone status that has been maintained for more than 90 days. On Sunday, Penang reported three more positive Covid-19 cases, two of which were linked to the Kedah Sivagangga cluster and one under the new cluster in Perak.
