Cinemas finally reopen on 13 July📽 – but moviegoers have to observe special safe distancing measures.
SINGAPORE – Cinemas can now reopen from 13 July 2020 onwards, according to a statement on Infocomm Media Development Authority’s website today , but with added safety measures in place.
Some of these Mandatory Safe Management Measures for Cinemas include mandatory temperature checks before entering the mall and cinemas and one-metre social distancing seat configuration. Cinema patrons are strongly encouraged to pre-order food and beverages online and collect the purchase on-site.
