COVID19 cases surging in other regions, says DOH

MANILA - The Department of Health is seeing a surge in coronavirus disease cases in other regions, as clusters identified by the Epidemiology Bureau reach 638.

While the National Capital Region, which has 33,961 confirmed cases as of July 18, remained on top of DOH's watchlist, other regions are closely watched. “Meron din tayong top provinces and cities July 12 to 18, We have the city of Manila, Quezon City, city of Mandaluyong, Cebu City, city of Navotas and city of Makati,” she added.

Based on Sunday’s COVID-19 situationer report, the National Capital Region logged 7,413 additional cases in the last week, Region 4A 1,158, Region 7 1,060, Region 6 251, and Region 10 234.
