MANILA (Xinhua/ANN): The number of Covid-19 (coronavirus) cases in the Philippines climbed to 18,638 after Department of Health (DOH) reported 552 more infections on Monday. The death toll also increased to 960 after three more patients have succumbed to the viral disease.

The DOH said in a daily bulletin that the number of recoveries further climbed to 3,979 after 70 more patients have survived the disease.
