COVID19 cases in Pampanga rise to 71
The province of Pampanga has recorded 71 coronavirus disease 2019 cases as of Thursday, its provincial information office said.
The provincial government, in a Facebook post, said 32 patients have recovered from the disease, while 8 others have died. The city of San Fernando has the most number of COVID-19 cases with 16, followed by Angeles City with 14, and Lubao at 5. The national government has extended the enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila and other parts of the country for another two weeks while placing other areas under general community quarantine.
The Philippines has recorded 8,488 coronavirus disease cases, of whom 568 died while 1,043 recovered.
