After dropping for four weeks in row, the weekly number of COVID-19 cases in Ohio increased by nearly 2,000 cases this week.

A total of 7,448,104 Ohioans have received at least one vaccination, representing about 67.3% of Ohioans age 5 and up.

Since the beginning of 2021, there have been 24,521 deaths among people reported as unvaccinated, and 1,348 among people reported to be fully vaccinated. And there have been 75,276 hospitalized Ohioans who were not fully vaccinated, and 5,506 fully vaccinated people hospitalized.The total cases being reported recently likely are understated, as some people do not report at-home tests and others may not be testing at all.* Total reported hospitalizations: 124,726, up 575.
