Covid-19: 41 new cases today, all linked to tabligh convention, bringing total to 238
Forty-one new coronavirus cases were on Saturday, most linked to a tabligh convention at Sri Petaling Mosque that was attended by about 10,000 people from several countries.
A total of 81 cases in Malaysia have now been confirmed as linked to the same event held at a mosque between Feb 27 and March 1. To contain the spread of the virus, all gatherings including international meetings, sports, social and religious events would be cancelled or postponed until after April, he said.
