The new death was Patient 6,856, a 53-year-old Malaysian woman who had late-stage lung cancer, and hypertension. The woman, who was a ministry health worker in Sabah, had been on leave for palliative care and was warded on May 5 due to declining health.Noor Hisham, however, said the cause of death was due to cancer.
