The “Friends” star has offloaded her longtime home to another Sierra Towers resident for $4.5 million in an off-market deal.
Soave paid $2.9 million for the first apartment in the famously star-studded, 146-unit building. This time she put out $4.5 million, Dirt reported. Now, with both of Cox’s previous apartments plusfrom actress Joan Collins, Soave — a waste-management mogul’s daughter — owns half of the building’s 25th floor.
Cox made quite the profit in the most recent sale, having purchased the two-bedroom, two-bathroom, just over 1,700-square-foot apartment for $2.1 million in 2011 — almost half of what Soave paid for it. The first unit she sold to Soave was also at a profit — in that case, to the tune of $400,000. The building was constructed in 1965.The Sierra Towers are located on the border of West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
Earlier this year, Cox revealed the reason why she previously offloaded yet another Los Angeles property, this one in Laurel Canyon: It was haunted. “I was at the house one day, not being a believer. And the doorbell rang,” she recalled on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this winter, . “It was a UPS guy or something, and I opened the door and he said, ‘Do you know this house is haunted?’ “And I go, ‘Yeah, why? Why do you think that?’”“I was like, ‘Let’s sell,’” Cox recalled.
