According to deputies, Makuch shot Trey Anthony Sukey, 30, of Lorain, in the area of Lake Avenue and Emerson Court at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Deputies said Sukey had been shot multiple times.Lorain County Sheriff Captain Robert Vansant Jr. said they are also investigating if the murder is connected to similar incidents in Amherst.
According to Captain Vansant Jr., at 5:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24 shots were fired at a motorcyclist in the area of North Leavitt and Cooper Foster Park Roads in Amherst. And, at 6:02 p.m., shots were fired at a motorcyclist in the area of North Leavitt Road and State Route 2 in Amherst, said Captain Vansant Jr.
No motorcyclists were struck in those incidents; however, at least one of the motorcycles was hit by a bullet.
