CUYAHOGA COUNTY , Ohio - A woman and her boyfriend convicted in connection with the death of her four-year-old nephew, will be sentenced Tuesday by Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge John Sutula.
Earlier this month, Devin Hall pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and child endangering for the death of Musiah Wadud in May 2022.Euclid police said Hall and Anderson were taking care of the victim and his younger brother after their mother lost custody of them due to mental health issues.Officers responded to the Parkside Gardens apartment complex in the 1400 block of East 260th St. on May 5, 2022 for an unresponsive child.
Prosecutors also said Wadud and his younger brother lived through eight months of torture and abuse, which ultimately led to the child’s untimely death.Mantua police officer plans to file lawsuit against Portage Co.
