A couple working for Icelandic airline Play celebrated their love by having a wedding ceremony at 30,000 feet during a flight from Iceland to France.

Alexander Valur and his fianceé Kita, both employees of the Iceland ic airline Play, had a unique opportunity to celebrate their love. The airline allowed them to hold their wedding ceremony at 30,000 feet while flying from Valur's home country of Iceland to Kita's home country of France . The couple, who share a passion for travel, thought it was the perfect way to commemorate their journey together.

They exchanged their work uniforms for more formal attire – he donned a velvet maroon suit jacket and black pants, while she opted for a green silk tank top and black slacks. As the plane soared through the air, Kita walked down the aisle to meet Alexander and the priest at the front of the aircraft, with the 200-plus passengers as their witnesses. The ceremony was followed by a celebratory reception, complete with champagne and sweet treats served by the flight attendants. Alexander and Kita, now happily married, plan to spend their Valentine's Day and the following days in Paris, the City of Love. Their love story began when Kita, who was on a work trip, first visited Iceland. She was captivated by the country and by Alexander, who was working as a tour guide. This unusual wedding in the sky perfectly encapsulates their shared love for adventure and travel
