NSTnation Many couples have postponed their wedding in light of Covid19, but one couple has chosen a creative way to continue their special day, which they labelled as “drive-thru” wedding ceremony.
The ceremony, which has gotten praises from netizens, was shared by the couple’s wedding planner Dinas Bridal on its Facebook .
Attached with the post were photos showing the couple all smiling while placing their hands on their chests as a sign of ‘salam’ to greet the guests who were driving through.“Hand signals used as ‘salam’, donation box replaced ‘salam keruk’, couple distributed foods to guests.The post uploaded yesterday has since garnered more than 10,000 shares and 6,600 comments.
Many had tagged their Facebook friends and suggested their friends to follow the drive-thru wedding ceremony in facing Covid-19 as it is safe and cost effective.Aizat Alwie said: “You are blessed, such special wedding will be your best memory, in the coming years, you will be all smiling when you recall your wedding ceremony.”
Maizenah Kakmai Che Sa said: “Save budget having a wedding ceremony during Covid-19, no kenduri, no goodie bags, no reception.”
