The couple decided to open up the shop after running a sweet stall at markets for a year
A couple has opened up a brand new sweet shop with a huge variety of sweet treats. Sweet Paradise 22 opened its doors at Handley Arcade in Mansfield on August 9.
The 36-year-old added: “We got the keys on the 20 July. It was hard work and stressful because we’ve had no funding and done it all on what we’ve been earning on the market and our own money.” Two new other businesses have recently opened up at the arcade, a cafe named Yum and Bean and a new hair salon Lounge la treize. So far coconut mushrooms, black jacks, fruit salads, fruit pastels, and wine gums have been the most popular among shoppers. The couple hopes to build up their shop and expand on the sweet treats they offer.
