AN exhausted couple with five children shared an adorable snap of their quadruplets cuddled up in bed as they celebrated their third birthday in isolation.
Carla and Paul Crozier, from Essex, were determined to give the four girls a proper birthday bash - even if that meant partying behind closed doors.Isla, Demi, Alyse, Milla are two pairs of identical twins at odds of 70 million to oneBig sister Darcie, six, was on hand to help her frazzled parents by keeping Isla, Demi, Alyse and Milla entertained at their home in Grays.
But despite the sweet snap of the four girls, who are two sets of identical twins, snuggled up in their pyjamas, Carla, 37 warned that looks can be deceiving."If one sits too close, they'll whack each other."The mum-of-five said: "I made cake and we played games. Thank goodness we have a garden. Seeing my babies at three makes me so proud."
Carla and Paul tried for five years to get pregnant before Darcie was born in 2013 - after a third and final round of NHS-funded IVF. Wanting siblings for Darcie, the pair spent their savings on self-funded rounds of fertility treatment - which to their surprise bought them not one baby, but four. After discovering they were about to be parents to not one but four babies, Paul, who works as a builder extended the couple's home and built a playroom for the five girls.Talking of her work, she said: "It can be lonely and overwhelming, but reaching out can help.
