Police are appealing for public assistance following a violent brawl in a Melbourne pub last month which landed an older man in hospital with serious injuries.
Police allege a group of six men got into a fight with another group at a licensed venue in Pascoe Vale on September 9.
A 75-year-old man and his wife were having a meal at the venue on Railway Parade when the fight broke out about 9.30pm.The brawl broke out at a Pascoe Vale pub in September. During the brawl, police said the Sunbury man was knocked off his chair, hit his head on the table and fell to the ground.His wife, a 76-year-old Sunbury woman, was left with minor injuries and was also taken to hospital for treatment.The group of men involved in the brawl left the scene before police arrived.
The offenders are all described as in their mid 30s to 40s and described as being Caucasian in appearance.Police are appealing to the public for information. Police have released CCTV images of a group of men they believe can help assist with their enquiries.
