Couple forced to keep baby's remains in their fridge after NHS hospital refused to store them
Laura was four months pregnant when she was told her baby son had died. She and her husband Lawrence had to wait at home for a hospital bed to be free. While waiting for two days, Laura painfully gave birth to the dead baby at home.
They then rushed to A&E with their son's body, but medics refused to take him. NHS guidance says medics should take baby remains for 'sensitive storage'. Instead couple were forced to take their son home and store him in their fridge
