SANDUSKY, Ohio — A Brunswick man and a Stow woman were arrested Friday after they reportedly were seen involved in a sex act while they were waiting in line for a haunted house at Cedar Point.
The man and woman, both 38 years old, each have been charge with public indecency, according to a police report from the Sandusky Police Department. The charges were upgraded to a second-degree misdemeanor, police say, because the incident was witnessed by a minor. Officers were called to Cedar Point at about 8:40 p.m., the report says. A 17-year-old girl met with officers and played them a video that police say showed the woman with her hand inside the zipper of the man’s pants as they waited in line during the park’s HalloWeekends event.
The report says the male denied the accusations, while the woman was crying and did not speak while being questioned. The male told police that the couple had just started dating and are “very intimate with each other.” This is the second recent incident at Cedar Point involving a couple accused of sexual contact at the park.
