A couple in Cornwall, U.K., stumbled upon a secret building while cleaning their new home's backyard.

A couple in North Cornwall, U.K., named Rebecca and Ben went viral after discovering a hidden building in their new home's backyard. They moved into their house in July and a month later shared a video on Instagram that has since garnered over 5 million views. In the video, the couple is seen uncovering the hidden structure while tidying their yard. The couple explained to Newsweek that they had seen the house plans, but it didn't seem to show the building's existence.

They noticed their dogs disappearing under a thick hedge and decided to investigate. Assuming it was simply a retaining wall or fence, they wanted to ensure it was secure for their dogs and free of hazards. Ben used a hedge trimmer to remove the overgrown bushes, revealing an old outbuilding filled with debris and a roof covered in ivy. The building is attached to the back of their garage and has a small door, a brick-built toilet, and a toilet roll holder still in place. It's connected to the main sewage pipe, although they haven't tested it yet. The couple is unsure of what to do with the space, considering possibilities like storage, an outdoor toilet or shower, or even an Airbnb listing
