Pasir Gudang: A young couple, including a minor, were arrested in two separate locations here today after videos of their obscene conversation inside a car were shared on social media.

Seri Alam police chief Superintendent Mohd Sohaimi Ishak said that based on the video recording, the incident took place at 3.03pm on March 29, but it only went viral on the TikTok application recently.He said the arrest involved a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman. “Police traced the video on social media platforms before identifying the location of the incident which was confirmed to be in the car park area at Taman Kota Masai here.

“During the arrests, investigators also seized a red Perodua Axia car as well as a red and white t-shirt,” he said. The car and clothing are believed to be used by the suspects during their alleged indecent acts. Mohd Sohaimi said the case is being investigated under Section 377D of the Penal Code for gross indecent behaviour with another person in public. He said those found guilty face imprisonment of up to two years.
