After 25 years in San Diego county government, CAO Helen Robbins-Meyer announced her retirement last October. She left the departure date open to allow county officials time to search for a successor.CAO since 2012, Robbins-Meyer didn't attend the meeting, which included a brief public comment period before the closed session. Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer was also absent.
A spokesman for board Chairwoman Nora Vargas' office said because the meetings are closed sessions, he couldn't provide any information.
