A Lanarkshire councillor has been inundated with messages of support after sharing the news of her baby daughter's death.
Lynsey, who is also Chair of Education at South Lanarkshire Council, paid tribute to her 'angel' describing her as perfect in 'every single way'.Posting about the tragic news, the councillor wrote: "Carys Charlotte Evelyn Mclay. Born the 4th of January 2023, 2am, asleep. You are loved beyond your wildest dreams and although this is not what we ever imagined you are perfect to us in every single way. Mummy, daddy and big sister Erin love you very much our Angel.
Weather presenter Judith Ralston added: "Oh Lynsey, I am so sorry to read this. I have no words that seem adequate, but thinking of you all at this unimaginably difficult and sad time. Take care and sleep well, wee Carys."
