'The amount of near misses is unreal'
Those living in Bridgeton’s Fielden Place warned Glasgow City Council “someone would be killed” due to speeding and dangerous driving on neighbouring B763 Fielden Street as far back as 2018.
A police inquiry into his death is ongoing, however, a document has revealed residents pleaded with the local authority to intervene on September 5, 2018.turning into the smaller Fielden PlaceIt reads: “We, the residents of Fielden Place, are in desperate need of road changes on Fielden Place and the B763.
“The speeds and dangerous driving is beyond belief. The amount of car collisions and near misses of people and kids nearly being hit by a car is unreal.
