FUNDING has been secured for a new secondary school in Lenzie.
It comes as a result of the council's successful funding bid to phase three of the government's Learning Estate Investment Programme fund .Cllr Low said:"This is excellent news and this funding contribution means we can replace the current Lenzie Academy with a state-of-the-art facility for 1400 pupils."The council will work closely with the Scottish Government and Scottish Futures Trust to deliver this new school as part of continuous improvement of our school estate.
