The leader of Ashfield District Council, Councillor Jason Zadrozny, is due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday to face a string of criminal allegations.
Zadrozny has been charged with offences including the alleged possession of cocaine, alleged money laundering and alleged income tax evasion.43, of Sutton Road in Kirkby, faces 12 counts of fraud by false representation and five counts of money laundering. He also faces four counts of being knowingly concerned in the fraudulent evasion of income tax, and one count of possession of a Class A drug.
