Take our test to see if your arithmetic and reasoning skills are up to scratch
For most people reading this, it's probably been at least a decade since you took your SATs exams all those years ago back in primary school.
But for year 6 pupils across the country, it's a daunting concept as they prepare to take the infamous exams this May faced with three different maths papers, as well as exams to test their English skills. Kids of 10 and 11 years old will be challenged by one paper based on arithmetic as well as two more based on reasoning questions, and we want to know how you stack up to a similar challenge. The paper will see children tested on skills such as division and multiplication, as well as areas like percentages, while the other two papers will quiz them on their mathematical reasoning.
And for our readers, we've put together our own set of 10 questions on these topics to see if you'd be up to the challenges kids will be facing across schools this spring. The exams are non-calculator so, of course, we've put a 60 second timer on each question to avoid cheating!
