Costco Wholesale Corp. is bumping fees for membership in its warehouse stores for the first time since 2017. The company, which has four locations in the San Antonio area, said Wednesday it will increase the cost of an annual membership at its U.S. and Canada warehouses to $65 from $60 effective Sept. 1. The fee for its higher-tier executive memberships will jump to $130 from $120.

Overall, the company reported profit of $6.3 billion on $242.3 billion in revenue last year and said its membership jumped to 127.9 million cardholders from 118.9 million cardholders. It has a 90% renewal rate for memberships.
