Costco Wholesale CEO Craig Jelinek is stepping down at the start of next year, the company said Wednesday.
Costco has tapped Ron Vachris, current president and chief operating officer, to head up the company starting Jan. 1. Jelinek will remain with Costco through April 2024 in an advisory role to assist Vachris through the transition. Vachris is another longtime Costco veteran, who has been with the company for over 40 years, Costco said.
