Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has clapped back at comments in response to her innocent social media video. The actress took to Instagram over the weekend to share a video in which she could be seen doing her makeup before heading to Lytham Festival.
Lucy, who is famed for playing Bethany Platt in ITV's Corrie, was seen alongside co-stars Charlotte Jordan, who plays Daisy Midgeley, and Dee-Dee Bailey actress Channique Sterling-Brown as they headed to watch country star Shania, fresh from her Legends performance at Glastonbury 2024. But it appears Lucy was surprised by the response. Among the comments was one follower who said: "Gorgeous, but I couldn’t be doing with all that fuss." Another commented: "That’s a lot of make up, your naturally attractive anyway, don’t need it!"
Lucy, meanwhile, had her own say. Resharing the video to her Instagram Story, the 28-year-old wrote: "Ppl are SO triggered at me wearing makeup. Maybe I LIKE making an effort when I get the opportunity to. Sorry if you don't xx."
