Coronation Street fans say 'poor Sarah' as character is given heartbreaking news about baby
Sarah Barlow was given some heartbreaking news in the latest episode of Coronation Street. It came after she was tricked into taking part in a gender reveal celebration where, instead of it being announced that her unborn child was a boy or girl, her husband Adam used the moment to declare the baby wasn't his - and that the dad was Damon Hay instead.
Seeing Sarah getting into a taxi to take herself to hospital, Maria told Adam. Horrified, as he thought she was faking her pain, Adam went after her. In the hospital terrified Sarah underwent a scan - and was told by the nurse that she had lost her baby. This is the second baby Sarah has lost, as her son Billy died in 2004 after being born prematurely.
As the emotional scenes played out, Coronation Street fans expressed sympathy for Sarah on Twitter. Mellers1313 @Mel_Navan said: "Poor Sarah losing a baby. It's the worst feeling."
