Coronation Street's Super Soap Week drew to a dramatic close with villain Stephen Reid's untimely death - but fans aren't convinced this will be the last we see of him
After another nail-biting night in Coronation Street, that saw killer Stephen Reid finally receive a taste of his own medicine by being run over by Peter Barlow, fans at home should be able to breathe a sigh of relief that the murderous businessman’s rampage is at an end.
And that’s without getting started on his string of non-fatal offences which included drugging Carla Connor, trying to murder his ex-girlfriend Elaine to claim a life insurance policy he had taken out in her name and defrauding his own mother Audrey Roberts! A third fan even shared their theory that Stephen may make a return this Christmas, as they speculated: "They’re only going to catch Stephen at Christmas, aren’t they?” while another social media user added: “I reckon Stephen will return for Christmas.”
