Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney appears to have taken a big step in her relationship with Ricky Hatton if his latest update is anything to go by. Fans of the pair are invested in their new romance, which began earlier this year.
Claire, who is currently starring as Cassie Plummer in ITV's Corrie, echoed the story, recently saying on ITV's Lorraine: "I’ve known Ricky for, like, 25 years. We always passed each other at events." It wasn't until earlier this year that the pair first got tongues wagging about a relationship after being spotted on a series of pub dates. They then stepped out on the red carpet together for the first time in May at the first opening night of the £365m Co-op Live Arena in Manchester.
And now Ricky's revealed he's met Claire's mum. The Stockport-born sportsman took to social media and shared snaps from Liverpool's Royal Court Theatre as he and Claire went to Jonathan Harvey's new show, Sisters of Mersey.
