The volunteers are helping other charities deliver 1.5 million meals to people in need this month during the coronavirus pandemic.

Volunteers have been sleeping and living in a warehouse to help get food to vulnerable people during the coronavirus pandemic.

The 50,000 sq ft depot in Lincolnshire stores hundreds of tonnes of food and supplies, and workers from His Church charity are self-isolating there so the site can stay open during the The volunteers are helping other charities deliver 1.5 million meals to people in need this month, and have seen a six-fold increase in demand since the crisis started.This week, the volunteers are bringing 15,000 meals from Lincolnshire to the Shah Jahan mosque in Woking

Senior coordinator at His Church, Richard Humphrey, has been living in the warehouse with 25 other volunteers.He said:"The team are showing amazing commitment, staying away from loved ones, they don't know how long for, and doing that because it's absolutely imperative no-one gets ill here, we are supplying about 15,000 charities in the UK so it's a massive massive task.

Workers there will then package up the food and household essentials and deliver them to vulnerable people in the area.
