SINGAPORE - National carrier Singapore Airlines is resuming flights to several destinations in June and July, and increasing the number of flights for some of its other services.
The reinstated scheduled services include flights to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Christchurch, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Osaka, SIA said on Monday .The updated flight schedules mean that SIA has cut about 94 per cent of the passenger capacity which had been originally scheduled for June and July, pre-Covid-19.
In April, flight cancellations had extended to as much as 96 per cent of SIA's passenger capacity, as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, which has sunk the demand for air travel globally.
