Here’s a list of coronavirus websites you’d be wise to avoid, as fraudsters, data thieves and government spies take advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic:

To avoid any risk, avoid visiting any of those websites. If you see any emails coming from such domains or if they’re linked in any emails, it’s worth taking extra precautions. Don’t click on any links within the email and don’t open any attachments. Simply close the email and delete to avoid further risk.

There are, for instance, domains registered that appear to come from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention , when in fact they’re from dangerous spammers. Researchers have already found one malware that was spread via the legitimate-looking email address CDC-Covid19@cdc[.]gov.
