The government is cracking down on fake advice spread about the coronavirus

Texts claiming to be from the government warning that people were being fined for leaving the house.False hospital advice advising people to gargle and drink water every 15 minutes to"wash the coronavirus down into the stomach, where the acid could kill it".

Another fake tip saying people could test themselves for the virus by holding their breath for 10 seconds. Doctored screenshots of official guidance on the government website suggesting the UK was to enter lockdown from Friday 20 March - three days before it actually happened.
