Coronation Street viewers were left in the dark about an offscreen exit from the ITV soap on Monday night, as one character announced another's departure.
When David questioned how she could possibly know Nathan had left or was leaving for good, Sarah simply said she knew because there was no reason for him to stay. Nathan exited the show seven years ago after being sent to prison. He was part of a child sex grooming gang, with Bethany being one of his victims. He had physically and sexually abused her, before attempting to sell her into sex work abroad.
