Coronation Street fans took to Twitter to point out Alya Nazir's odd behaviour with some spoons.
Julie attended the Alzheimer’s Society’s Memory Walks Coronation Street stalwart Julie Goodyear has appeared in pictures for the first time since her diagnosis with dementia earlier this year. The Bet Lynch actress announced her diagnosis in a statement released by husband Scott Brand. In the statement, Scott revealed that they were both coming to terms with the diagnosis, and wanted to reveal it publicly as Julie ‘can get confused’ while being approached by fans out and about.
‘Julie and I are delighted to be supporting the Manchester Memory Walk in Heaton Park this year,’ Scott told The Sun. ‘We want to make sure that anyone else who has been impacted by a dementia diagnosis knows they are not alone – we know that one in three of us born today will go on to develop dementia, and so many more families, friends and carers will be affected as a result.
