Worried members of the public had been reporting incidents to the police since November, including fires being set, vandalism, assault and thefts
"We are aware of the disruptive effect that anti-social behaviour can have on a community and are committed to our ongoing efforts regarding diversionary activities.
"Local officers are working closely with partners to address these issues and find meaningful solutions to divert our young people away from criminality."The force has detailed its plan to crack down on anti-social behaviour in the area, particularly concerning young people. They are also urging people to contact them regarding any issues they have about such incidents in their area.
"We are committed to encouraging people away from this kind of behaviour and we will take appropriate action where incidents are reported and offenders identified.
