Drugs worth an estimated £10,000 have been seized from a car after a Police Dog alerted cops.
Officers stopped the car on the M74 northbound near Glasgow at junction 3 on Saturday evening around 6.10 and the dog unit called in. The force said: “The three occupants of the vehicle were arrested and a search of the car was carried out with assistance from the Dog Unit.“Officers recovered heroin, with an estimated street value of £7,000 and cocaine, worth an estimated value of £3,000.”
Police said two men, aged 52 and 53 and one woman, aged 38, were arrested and charged with drugs offences and have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
